Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, wie Sie anhand meiner obigen Bewertung bereits sehen können, war ich mit Ihrem Partner vor Ort (AVIS) nicht zufrieden. Der Einfachkeit halber schicke ich Ihnen meine Beschwerde an AVIS zur Kenntnisnahme.
Über den Vermieter in San Luis Obispo (Avis):
Dear Madams, Dear Sirs, regarding my latest rental with you I need to point out that this was one of the worst experiences I have ever made. Upon arrival in San Luis Obispo your staff there tokk more than 20 minutes to figure out how to input the rental agreement correctly in the system for my prepaid voucher. Actually I had requested for a non smoking, low mileage car. What did I get? A car with cigarette ashes in the ashtray (which I unfortunally realized when I had already left the rental station) and about 18000 miles on it. Whilst driving when the sunset started I could hardly see anything through the windshield in front since it presumingly had never seen any cleaning from the inside since leaving the factory. Same for the stearing wheel which you could stick onto easily. I returned the car the very next morning to the same rental station mentioning that I didnt realize that I had to request for a clean car upon reservation to make sure to get a clean one upon arrival. Your staff there gave me another car, which I found out was as dirty as the first one, and another one, and another one and another one. I guess I had a look at 50 % of all available cars of all types of category, finding out that none of them had been cleaned from the inside. The staff at the parking area even asked me to wait so he would go ahead and clean the car properly. I rejected since Im surely not supposed to waste my time waiting for someone to do his job which he should have already done before. Last but not least I was so fed up that I took a car which seamed to be the cleanest one and continued my journey, not without listening to the wonderful comments of you staff at the desk, dicussing the issues of this mad lady how seams to make a fuzz out of nothing. Thanks for this professional attention of your staff there, left me the impression that the minimum wage mustnt be raised that region since no service means for me no extra money. When I returned the car in L.A. airport another surprise awaited me. I was charged an additional fee of 38 USD, which the staff at the desk explained as the extra which arised since I had requested for an upgrade in San Luis Obispo. What a joke and nightmare! Luckily I had found a really attending and caring staff of yours there who did her maximum to get this whole mess settled. Unfortunally she hasnt been allowed to pass on the data of your staff in San Luis Obispo so I have to refer to my rental agreement number hoping that my claim will find the deserved attention and might help to improve AVIS service in San Luis Obispo for the next customer who surely would love to have a clean car without discussions.
